Make a real difference to how Northstowe develops as a community - show your support now!
Looking for something creative, social and completely pressure-free?
Northstowe Makers is our new series of laid-back workshops where you can try your hand at a new craft, meet others in the community, and contribute to something bigger... no experience needed.
Each session is led by a brilliant local artist who’ll guide you through simple, hands-on techniques using natural materials. You’ll get to create beautiful things to take home and work together on collaborative artworks that will be displayed around Northstowe.
Our first series runs this autumn (September, October and November) and focuses on Willow and Wool Weaving - think small handmade decorations for your home or garden, alongside eye-catching woven structures for public spaces.
It’s completely free to join. We’ll provide all the materials, you just bring your curiosity and a willingness to have a go.
Whether you’re a total beginner or just want a creative outlet that’s low-stress and full of good vibes, you’re warmly invited.
Booking is essential, so pop your name down and come get making.
